The Kentucky State BBQ Festival is an event staged by the Kentucky State BBQ Festival Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Festival is held every September on the first weekend after Labor Day. It features celebrity Pitmasters cooking for attendees, music, bourbon, beer and kid’s activities making it fun for the whole family. The Kentucky State BBQ Festival benefits Heart of Kentucky United Way.
